Drilling Polymer

Drilling polymer is a high molecular weight polymer that controls fluid loss and increases drilling mud viscosity. Drilling polymer emulsion contains co-polymer and is used primarily as a borehole stabilizer to prevent reactive shale and clay from swelling and sloughing. Drilling polymer emulsion is also added to low-solids drilling liquids to increase lubricity, liquid viscosity, and to improve carrying capacity of air / foam injection liquids.

Key Features and Benefits

  • Effective viscosifier and bore Hole stabilizer
  • Provides shale control
  • Flocculant in clear water drilling
  • Helps in better removal of cutting from bore hole
  • Improves lubricity
  • Provides cutting encapsulation

Handling Measures
and Precautions

Proper human safety products such as splash goggles, lab coat, vapour respirator, NIOSH approved gloves and boots should be worn while handling and applying chemicals. Splashes on the skin should be washed off with water immediately. In case of splashing into the eyes, flush them with fresh water and obtain medical attention. Should not be injected.

Should be stored in original vented containers, away from heat, direct sunlight and combustibles. Store in a cool and dry place. Kindly refer label and SDS for details.
