Boiler Oxygen Scavenger
Dissolved oxygen in the boiler is very corrosive at higher temperatures and pressures. This may lead to localized pitting and premature boiler tube failure or excessive feedwater leaks. Oxygen corrosion can be severe, especially to mild steel with higher temperatures. Boiler Oxygen Scavenger is used to reduce oxygen content from boiler feed water.
The various products that classify under oxygen scavengers catalyzed Sodium Sulphite, Hydrazine, even powdered ones. The catalyzed scavengers convert themselves faster to remove oxygen instantly from the feed water. It is also responsible for pH buffering and reducing alkalinity of the feed water. Having precise pH value, these chemical additives have following attributes like power saving, minimizing oxidative corrosion and oxygen removal. This formulation range is utilized in food & beverage, dairies, pharmaceutical, poultry and sugar industries. These chemicals also work as metal passivators and rust removers, proving to be a single treatment for total corrosion control in any internal boiler systems.

Handling Measures
and Precautions
Always feed boiler oxygen scavenger as far back in the system as possible to protect the feed water tank or DA and feed water pumps.
Proper human safety products such as splash goggles, lab coat, vapor respirator, NIOSH approved gloves and boots should be worn while handling and applying chemicals. Splashes on the skin should be washed off with water immediately. In case of splashing into the eyes, flush them with freshwater and obtain medical attention. Should not be injected.
Storage
Should be stored in original containers away from heat, direct sunlight. Store in a cool dry place. Please refer label and SDS for details.
