Hydrazine Hydrate
Hydrazine Hydrate (CAS No. 7803-57-8) an inorganic compound chemically represesnted as N2H4.xH2O, is a colorless and flammable liquid having ammonia-like odour. Hydrazine Hydrate finds most of its uses as Oxygen Scavenger and Corrosion Inhibitor in Boiler Water Treatment.
As a water-based solution, Hydrazine Hydrate and its derivatives are widely used as reducing agent, blowing agent, corrosion inhibitor, oxygen scavenger or intermediate of synthesis. Hydrazine hydrate finds use in various industrial sectors such as Water Treatment, Polymerization, Agro Chemicals, and Pharmaceuticals.

Handling Measures
and Precautions
DG Cargo. Flammable, toxic and corrosive nature. Proper human safety products such as splash goggles, lab coat, dust and vapour respirator, NIOSH approved gloves and boots should be worn while handling and applying chemicals. Splashes on the skin should be washed off with water immediately. In case of splashing into the eyes, flush them with fresh water and obtain medical attention. Should not be injected.
Storage
Should be stored in original vented containers, away from heat, direct sunlight and combustibles. Store in a cool and dry place. Please refer label and SDS for details.
