pH Adjuster Chemical
pH Adjusting Chemicals are of utilitarian nature helping in the pH adjustments of a finished product. They either add to or remove the number of hydrogen ions in or from a chemical through the process of neutralization. A pH value of a particular chemical can range from 0 to 14 where the range 0 - 7 classifies under acidic chemical, 7 - 14 classifies under basic or alkaline chemical and 7 being the neutral value. Acidic chemicals are required to decrease the pH value of a chemical whereas alkaline chemicals are required to increase the pH value.
They come with unique characteristics such as:
- Safe to use and biodegradable nature
- Minimize scaling & deposition
The pH adjustments can be done through batch or continuous process. Continuous pH adjustment is only possible when the rate of flow of applicable chemical is constant and not affected or interfered by any other chemical whereas batch system works on a fixed volume and releases the finished product only when the desired value is obtained.
Key Features and Benefits
- Minimizes corrosion of feed water tank, lines and pump
- Imparts water and sludge conditioning to minimize scaling and deposition
- Compatible with other treatment chemicals Compatible with other treatment chemicals
- Completely biodegradable in nature
Proper human safety products such as splash goggles, lab coat, dust respirator, NIOSH approved gloves and boots should be worn while handling and applying chemicals. Splashes on the skin should be washed off with water immediately. In case of splashing into the eyes, flush them with fresh water and obtain medical attention. Should not be injected.
Should be stored in original vented containers, away from heat, direct sunlight and combustibles. Store in a cool and dry place. Please refer label and SDS for details.
